Access Phone Numbers

Below is a link to the local Dial-Up access numbers, our dial-up number base has grown too large to list, it would take three to four minutes to load. We have a number locator link below.

You do not have to live in the towns/cities that are listed, you only have to be able to call that Dial-Up number without incurring a long distance charge. Usually you only need to dial the number without using the area code and "1", although in some cases you have to dial the area code 123-456-7890.

We suggest testing the dial-up number

We have had some customers call the phone company and receive inaccurate information about the access numbers. We suggest the following:

Try the number by dialing it as a local call (without the 1 ) and call the number by voice (as you would a normal voice call). If you get a high pitch data "scream",  you should be all set. If you get an operator with a message "You must dial a... 1" then it's not a local number. Please note: Many areas now require that you use 10 digit dialing, that is the (area code) + the 7 digit number. You are welcome to try as many numbers as you need.

To locate a local number use the Access Number Locator.

The list is updated as often as possible however, some numbers and area coverage may
change. You are welcome to call the displayed number by voice to check that it is operational.
