On your PC
(MAC users please see your Internet Access Setup Assistant)

For Windows 95, 98, 98SE, ME, XP, 2000™ Note that the different versions of Windows™ will show slightly different screens but the procedure will be essentially the same.

Windows 95,98,ME,2000™ (and XP with notes) users, Double click (or click) on "My Computer"

Then double click (or click) on  "Dialup Networking", (XP users, double click on "Network", then "View Network Connections")

Select the "ccwebs" dialup connection (or whatever you named it) click once to highlight the connection then click on "File" then click on "Properties".

Change the access number in the "Telephone number" field to the new number. See below.

If the "Area Code" box has an area code in it change it to the new area code. If it is blank or "grayed out" then skip to the next step.

If the "Area Code" box is "grayed out" with no number in it, then make sure you enter the entire number with area code in the "Phone Number" field.

After you make the change click the OK button, then connect to the internet as you have in the past, make sure you get a connection, try using your browser, if it works then just disconnect as you normally would.

That should do it.
