Change the SMTP server


Follow the information on this page to change the SMTP server during the email error issue.
 

Please Note: Use these directions as a "workaround" until the email sending issue is resolved. You will need to change the SMTP server back to "ccwebs.com" when the issue is resolved.

We have created a SMTP server on one of our other servers to use until this issue is resolved.

  1. Start Outlook Express.
  2. Click on "Tools" in the top tool bar.
  3. Select "Accounts" (click on).
  4. Click on the "Mail" tab if you are not already on it.
  5. Select the ccwebs mail account (double click on it) a dialog box will open.
  6. Click on the "Servers" tab.
  7. Change the "Outgoing mail (SMTP)" server from ccwebs.com to:   smtp.safepages.com
  8. Make NO other changes!
  9. Click "APPLY", then click on "O.K.".
  10. Close the dialog boxes and Outlook Express.
  11. Restart Outlook Express, you should be able to send email.

 

Again, this is a temporary change and you will need to change the server back when the issue is resolved.
